This website is a labor of love, and as such we have very little funding for the work that we do. We keep things low-budget, but we still incur financial and labor costs, including:
- 10-20 hours of labor to produce, edit, and animate each individual video (home spun, edited by either Scott Duane or Xander Karsten)
- Site maintenance costs, such as web hosting fees and a premium Vimeo account
- Travel costs around the Bay Area to film our partner doctors
- Equipment costs such as tripods, accessories, cameras, microphones, etc.
All donations go straight back into video production and site maintenance. If you think what we’re doing is awesome and worthwhile, please make a donation.
Please note: Informing Consent is a project of Visible Bodies: Transgender Narratives Retold, which is fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas, a registered 501c3 organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
